Life has a way of weaving two people’s paths together, even when they don’t realize it. That’s the beauty of Laura Jean and Tyler’s story. Even though they grew up in towns an hour away from each other, they shared similar interests, both playing sports and unknowingly crossing paths countless times. It took a mutual friend to finally bring them together about a year ago. Now, with a beautiful future on the horizon, they’re set to say “I do” at Laura Jean’s dream venue, the historic Marengo House.
Laura Jean has always envisioned her wedding at Marengo House. Having photographed several weddings there, I can say it truly gets better every time! There’s something timeless and romantic about the space that perfectly captures her vision. I first met Laura Jean and Tyler when they attended a wedding I photographed there last month, and it was wonderful to get to know them before their own special day.
Posing Laura Jean and Tyler brought its own set of fun challenges, given their height difference. We shared plenty of laughs as we tried out different poses, and before long, we found a rhythm that felt natural. Laura Jean’s warmth and Tyler’s calm confidence came through effortlessly, and each pose seemed to capture the heart of their relationship. They make the perfect pair, complementing each other in every way.
Laura Jean and Tyler, thank you for trusting me to capture your engagement and for choosing me to document your wedding day. It’s an honor to be a part of this special season in your lives, and I look forward to being back at Marengo House in April to celebrate and preserve every moment of your love story!
This is one amazing couple. I can’t wait to see how God blesses them during their life together.
Congratulations!
