Reagan and Jonathan’s wedding day was intimate, heartfelt, and beautifully simple—proof that love doesn’t need grand fanfare to be unforgettable. We met for the very first time just minutes before they applied for their marriage license. Even in those first few moments together, I could tell they were something truly special.

Jonathan’s reaction when he saw Reagan turn the corner in her wedding gown was one of the most touching moments I’ve witnessed—his eyes immediately welled with tears. As we waited together with their parents and sisters for the judge to call us in, the atmosphere was full of quiet excitement and deep emotion.

Inside the courtroom, Reagan’s dad walked her down the aisle and proudly gave her away. Reagan and Jonathan had written their own vows and they each spoke from the heart—both mentioning the gym where they first met. But what really made me tear up was when Jonathan looked at Reagan and said, “You’re not just a woman I want in my life. You’re a woman I need in my life.” The sincerity and love in that moment were incredibly sweet.

After exchanging vows and saying “I do,” we headed to the courtyard at First Baptist Church Montgomery for a few just-married portraits before they made their way to Birmingham to begin their honeymoon. The soft spring light, the brick paths, and the peaceful setting were the perfect backdrop for their first portraits as husband and wife.
