Coffee
To say I like coffee a latté is a drastic understatement. I am always looking forward to drinking another cup. I didn't choose the mug life; the mug life chose me! My go-to daily creamer is hazelnut, but my Starbucks drink varies between cinnamon dolcé, toffee nut, hazelnut, peppermint, and pumpkin spice depending on the season. Weston and I love trying local coffee shops when we travel and we have had some pretty awesome lattés over the years!
Travel
I grew up traveling all over the U.S. and taking mission trips to Mexico with my family. Traveling is in my genes and the wanderlust has only gotten stronger as I’ve gotten older. Weston and I made a goal to visit at least one new state or country every year since our honeymoon. We have visited 26 states and 13 countries so far! Photography
I have consistently been drawn to creative outlets such as painting, drawing, and graphic design. After getting my first professional camera in 2011, I used my love for taking pictures to raise money for a mission trip to Belize. I discovered that it was invigorating to make people smile and preserve these precious moments for them. Within a few weeks, I had turned my hobby into a business. It has developed (pun intended) into a joyous passion that I never want to stop!
Family
Family has always been important to me, but Weston and I had a few goals we wanted to accomplish before growing our family. We wanted to be debt-free, travel to Europe, and I wanted to get my jaw fixed (which required braces and double jaw surgery). In 2019, God blessed us with Camryn. She is the sweetest and happiest little girl. She makes us smile and laugh and we fall more in love with her every single day! You can read about why we chose the name Camryn here!
Marriage
I married my college sweetheart, Weston, on July 13, 2013 in my hometown - Mobile, Alabama. We met at University of Mobile in 2008 and started dating a month later. We are complete opposites in many ways, but over the years we have discovered a mutual love of goal-setting, traveling, coffee, and cookie cakes. God
I strive to make God central to everything I do. On Sundays and Wednesdays, you can find our family at Elkdale Baptist Church. My husband, Weston, and I are passionate about helping people become better stewards of their money. We have led 7 Financial Peace University classes at Elkdale and plan to continue leading as long as we can. You can read about how we paid off $135,000 in debt here!
