The Stables at Russell Crossroads Wedding

On a typical day, Clair and Owen both serve our country in the United States Coast Guard and constantly put others before themselves. This day was different; it was all about them! Every guest, every flower, every vendor, and every detail was gathered at The Stables at Russell Crossroads just for them.

With her Coco Mademoiselle perfume by Chanel, rose gold sparkly heels, her grandmother’s ring, and a flowy blush wedding gown, Clair radiated elegance. Her new husband, Owen, donned his dress whites complete with his insignia and polished gold buttons. Together, they looked like they walked straight out of a magazine.

It was evident throughout the day that their friends and family were important to them and vice versa. In his toast, the best man asked, “Have you ever met someone and just known in your heart that they are a good person?” I think this perfectly describes how most people feel when they meet Clair and Owen. So many of their friends and family members traveled hundreds and thousands of miles to be part of their wedding story, including half of Clair’s family who are native to France.

The most notable part of the reception was when the fiercely patriotic guests sang the French National Anthem and I have never wanted to be French more than I did at that moment. Those of you that know me well, know that France has a piece of my heart and I finally got to visit Paris earlier this year, so that piece is even bigger now. I love the French culture and I’m so thankful I got to experience a small part of it in Alabama.

Clair and Owen, thank you from the bottom of my heart for choosing me to capture your wedding day! Your wedding was an absolute dream! I loved watching your nerves melt away as you spent time together throughout the day. You two are perfect for each other and I wish you a lifetime of happiness as you grow closer together every day!
