Behind the Scenes 2018

Posted in: Behind the Scenes

As we are wrapping up 2018, I am looking back at all of my behind the scenes photos and feeling blessed.  My calendar was full this year, but I assure you that my heart is even fuller.  Photography is a tough job, but it is also incredibly rewarding.  I am so thankful for every person that trusted me to preserve their memories this year.  You are the reason I love what I do, so I wanted to share some of my favorite behind the scenes moments with you!  The good, the great, and the super unflattering angles of me haha.  Enjoy!

Sometimes we have to get into weird positions to get the best shot.

I promise I don’t lay on the ground at every session, but when I do, it’s totally worth it.

It always helps to have an assistant for those epic veil and dress tosses.

Don’t worry about fluffing your dress; I’ve got you covered!

Weston comes to my sessions sometimes if we are traveling and he gets all these photos of me taking pictures.

He is always there to help me when I need him!  Even if it’s just to be a body guard.

I never know what will happen at a session, but I always love the adventure!

You’ll find me with a camera in front of my face for a good part of the day!

I worked with so many talented photographers and videographers this year!  Sharing the same passion with other people gives you a special bond.  I treasure each of their friendships!

I wasn’t able to get behind-the-scenes photos at every session and wedding, but I did get some pretty sweet selfies with many of my clients!

It’s hard to believe 2018 is almost over!  I am humbled by your support of my business and blessed that so many people chose to include me in all of these moments.  Thank you for such an incredible year!  I can’t wait to see what’s in store for 2019!

I have always loved your work. You are an extremely talented photographer, regardless of the “angle” you are shooting in. Your subjects are the lucky ones, to be photographed by you. I hope you and Weston are doing well.
