If I could hand-pick the perfect wedding details, I still don’t think it would be as breathtaking as Olivia and Charlie’s wedding.  From the moment we arrived at the Woolworth Lofts where the bride and bridesmaids were getting ready, we were in awe of the natural light that radiated throughout every room.  All that light meant we would get gorgeous getting ready photos and detail shots!

Olivia did a first look with her bridesmaids since they had not seen the dress yet.  The bridesmaids kept their eyes closed as they waited for Olivia to make her grand entrance.  She walked down the hallway and couldn’t help but tear up as she saw each of her bridesmaids in their sage green dresses.  The vision she had for her wedding came to life before her eyes.  The girls waited anxiously.  On the count of three, they opened their eyes and saw their best friend in her jaw-dropping lace gown.  There was no shortage of excitement and tears between them.

The day before their wedding, the weather forecast was 100 percent chance of thunderstorms.  Many people prayed all week for no rain.  We would have gladly taken an overcast day, but God surprised us with a sunny day instead!  We were able to get the wedding party photos on the historic steps of First Baptist Church of Selma without worrying about raindrops.  Since Olivia and Charlie chose not to do a first look, we got the majority of their husband and wife photos at the Selma Country Club during golden hour.  It was totally worth sneaking away from their reception to get those dreamy shots!

Olivia and Charlie, thank you so much for asking me to be part of your love story!  I had so much fun with you at your engagement session and again at your wedding.  You both have the sweetest friends and family.  Every detail was flawless.  There were so many sentimental moments that I cried more times throughout the day than I’d like to admit.  Thank you again for including me in your wedding day!  I hope you have a great time in Mexico this week!
