Kaitlyn and Blake met in their Spanish class at AUM. Blake was fluent in Spanish, but Kaitlyn was struggling and needed a tutor – Blake. They started dating shortly after and share a love for all things Mexican, all things travel, and all things Disney. As we walked through the Birmingham Botanical Gardens, Kaitlyn and Blake shared stories from their many adventures. They have traveled extensively together and separately and they have a list of places to visit in the future. Kaitlyn’s dream trip is Japan, so we made sure to take a few photos in front of the tori gate entrance to the Japanese Gardens.

Blake proposed to Kaitlyn at Disney World in December and now they are planning their honeymoon at the Disney Resort in Hawaii! You may notice a couple of pieces of Disney-themed jewelry in some of their engagement photos. I love that Kaitlyn included her Disney castle necklace and her Mickey watch!

Our second location was the most beautiful church in downtown Birmingham. I told Kaitlyn that I have been wanting a couple to dress up and take pictures there. They came dressed to impress and I could not get home fast enough to edit their gorgeous pictures!
