Katelyn and Sam’s wedding at The Shack at Farrior Farms was a beautiful blend of simplicity and thoughtful details. They wanted to keep things understated, but their personal touches were impossible to miss. One of the most unique aspects was the branding on their wedding boots. Each pair featured their initials and wedding date, a subtle yet meaningful detail that reflected their attention to the small things.
Katelyn’s 83-year-old grandfather played a special role in their day too! Known for his custom horse saddles, he turned his leatherworking talents to create something truly special—custom leather suspenders for Sam, each of the groomsmen, and even the tiniest member of the bridal party, the ring bearer. It was a personal touch that carried so much meaning, adding an extra layer of sentiment to the day.
For the younger guests, Katelyn and Sam made sure to create something special as well. They had custom coloring sheets designed with images of their beloved dogs, Delilah and Mac. It was such a thoughtful way to include their furry family members in the celebration and keep the little ones entertained.
Being diehard Alabama fans, Katelyn and Sam made sure their wedding day didn’t miss a moment of fall football. Large screens were set up at the reception so guests could celebrate the couple while keeping up with the game. It wouldn’t be a true fall wedding in Alabama without a nod to football, and their reception was the perfect balance of fun and festive.
Katelyn and Sam, thank you so much for choosing to include me in your wedding day! I have enjoyed getting to know both of you and it was so fun to see your wedding vision come to life. I hope you have the best honeymoon in Jackson Hole and Yellowstone!
Oh my goodness. These are beautiful and thank you so much for the kind words in your blog.
