When Katie was planning her wedding last year, she had plans to do a bridal session before her big day.  We scheduled her bridal session for about a month before her wedding.  Between her school schedule, running her own business, planning her wedding, and rescheduling her session a few times due to weather, we did not get to do her bridal session before her wedding.  I offered to do an anniversary session for them since there was no way to do her bridal session and she agreed!

My very first wedding blog was Katie and Adam’s wedding.  Everything about their wedding was so perfect.  The details, the weather, their love – everything.  They were clearly very happy on their wedding day, but they were even happier when I met them for their anniversary session in downtown Birmingham.  They were constantly smiling and very comfortable with each other.  I asked them what their favorite part of marriage is so far and they said just being able to be together all the time.  Leading up to their wedding, Katie lived in Tuscaloosa and Adam lived in Birmingham.  The long distance was tough, but so worth it to spend the rest of their lives together.  I’m sure they have had their share of ups and downs just like every marriage, but I know they are deeply devoted to each other.
