Julia hid around the corner on the opposite end of the house while she waited for Keith to finish getting ready.  She heard the bedroom door open and his footsteps clank across the floor.  She gazed out the large, wall-sized windows and that’s when it happened.  Julia gasped and her eyes filled with tears as she watched her husband-to-be adjust his suit jacket while he walked down the steps.  All the emotions flooded her mind as she thought about her love for Keith.  Until the end of time.  That’s the inscription on the watch Julia gifted to Keith during their first look.  That’s how long she would pledge to love him.

As Julia’s daughter, Olivia, and sister, Christina, helped button her wedding gown, Julia shared a few interesting tidbits with me.  Christina was her biological sister that she just met in February this year.  I honestly thought they had grown up together because they seemed so close!  The beautiful pearl necklace Julia wore belonged to her birth mother.  Christina brought it for her to wear.

Perhaps the most intriguing part of their story is that Julia’s ex husband and his new wife planned Julia and Keith’s wedding!  Yes, you read that correctly.  Many people said they were crazy, but I think it speaks volumes for all four of them to have done this wedding together.  I have worked countless weddings with Rebecca and Jeffrey over the last five years.  They worked tirelessly on this wedding – just as they would any other wedding.  The fruits of their labor were evident with the genius pocket flowers for Keith and the jaw-dropping tree garland.  The garland wrapped the perfectly positioned tree for their intimate wedding ceremony at Donavan Inn.

Julia and Keith, thank you so much for making me part of such a beautiful wedding!  Thank you for allowing me to share your story and show that it is possible to be happy for others.  I am so excited that you found each other and you vowed to spend the rest of your lives together.  I wish you both the best!
