I met Jack and his dad in downtown Selma last weekend for Jack’s senior session. We started with some simple poses on the steps of First Baptist Church and Jack informed me that he doesn’t smile. Most of my senior guys say this and it is my personal mission to make them smile for at least a couple of photos. As you can see, I got more than just a couple 😉
While we were taking pictures, Jack told me all about his plans for after graduation. He plans to attend University of Alabama to get his undergrad and then pursue his law degree. You could see the fire and determination in his eyes as he talked about it. He’s obviously passionate about criminal justice and he knows exactly what he wants to do. He has wanted to be a lawyer since he was 7! It’s always impressive when someone follows their childhood dreams!
After we finished his formal outfits, we drove to Meadowview Christian Academy to take some photos of Jack in his element – the baseball field. There was a really cool mural on the back of the dugout, so we took a good number of photos there. Then we took some inside the dugout and a few on the field. Jack totally knocked it out of the park on all these photos – pun intended! I’m not a sports person, but even I am obsessed with how these baseball photos turned out!
Jack, thank you so much for trusting me to take your senior portraits! I know taking pictures isn’t always a guy’s favorite thing, but you did it like a champ! Congratulations on finishing your senior year and moving on to the next chapter of your life. I wish you the best of luck at University of Alabama (roll tide!) and in law school!
