Central Alabama Bridal Session

Posted in: Bridals, For Brides

We started Jessica’s bridal session inside her family church, a place where her family has attended for multiple generations and even donated one of the stained glass windows. One of my favorite shots from the day was a silhouette photo in front of that stained glass window. The colors in the window were absolutely breathtaking and the contrast between the bright colors and the dark silhouette of the bride made for a truly stunning image.

After the church, we headed over to Jessica’s parents’ house to take some more portraits. Their house overlooks a gorgeous hillside that served as the perfect backdrop for her bridal portraits. Just when we were finishing up her portraits, Jessica spotted her dad driving down the road! She quickly ran to the car so that her dad wouldn’t see her in her dress before the big day. We were all thankful he didn’t catch a peek of her dress!

And of course, we couldn’t forget about Jessica’s fur baby! We made sure to take a few shots with her dog, who wasn’t too sure about getting close to Jessica’s dress. Pets are a beloved part of many families and I always love incorporating them into photo sessions!

Jessica, I’m so thankful we did your bridal portraits before your wedding day! It was such a fun day and I loved having that extra time to photograph your gorgeous dress. Thank you again for choosing me for your engagement, bridal, and wedding photos!
