Madge’s senior session began at her church home – St. Paul’s Episcopal Church. It had been raining leading up to her session, but the sun decided to come out when we started taking pictures. As Madge gracefully posed amidst the historic architecture, one particular frame gave us Rapunzel vibes. See if you can spot it below!
Our next destination led us to Madge’s grandmother’s house in Tyler, Alabama. The plan was to do the majority of her photos in the blooming field of yellow daffodils. However, the crazy weather lately meant the daffodils were few and far between. Though the daffodils were sparse, the landscape still offered natural beauty with the branches of a majestic magnolia tree and the delicate blooms of wedding bell trees.
Just down the road, we made our final stop at Madge’s great aunt’s house. A few resilient daffodils gave us that pop of color we wanted. Although we came to that spot for the daffodils, we stayed for the camellias. The various pink and white hues of the camellias perfectly complimented Madge’s pink dress. I could have photographed her in that spot all day! Madge even laid on the ground for a photo with the fallen camellias that had covered the area.
If you’ve followed my social media this year, you probably recognize Madge as one of my senior spokesmodels. She has become a posing pro and has a strikingly beautiful “serious” face!
Madge, thank you so much for choosing me to photograph your senior year! I am so excited you are on this year’s spokesmodel team and I have loved having you in front of my camera. Thank you for going along with all my crazy ideas! Your enthusiasm and grace made every photo so fun and I’m already looking forward to our next spokesmodel session!
