High school sweethearts Ellie and Jake are counting down the days until they say “I do” in Jamaica! Before their tropical wedding, we met up for their engagement session in Hampstead, a charming neighborhood near Montgomery that holds special meaning for them—Jake lived there while he was in law school. 

One of the sweetest parts of the afternoon was including their two dogs. Ellie wanted at least one good photo with them but had low expectations since one pup has endless energy. Challenge accepted! With a little patience (and help from parents and a friend), we captured the most precious moment of the four of them together. It was worth the effort, and I know that photo will be treasured for years to come.  

Ellie and Jake are such a fun and easygoing couple. Their love story goes all the way back to their teenage years, and you can tell how comfortable they are with each other. They laughed through every pose, making my job effortless. Whether strolling hand in hand through the neighborhood or sharing a quiet moment by the water, their connection was undeniable.  

After they tie the knot in Jamaica, they’ll be celebrating with family and friends at a reception-style event in a few months. I love that they’re making their wedding experience their own—an intimate ceremony in a breathtaking location, followed by a joyful gathering with all their loved ones.  

Ellie and Jake, thank you for letting me capture this season of your lives! You two are the perfect mix of classic and fun, and I know your wedding (and the celebration to come) will be incredible. Wishing you all the happiness in the world as you start this next chapter!
