From the moment we started, it was clear Hadley was completely comfortable in front of the camera.
As one of my spokesmodels and the cousin of a past spokesmodel, she already knew the flow of a session. We started at First Baptist Church of Selma, where she attends church. I’m not kidding when I say she had her own cheering section. Every few minutes, someone she knew would drive by, wave, or honk. It was the most charming small-town moment and the perfect way to kick off her session.

Posing Hadley came so naturally. She knows her angles, moves with confidence, and gives just the right mix of soft smiles and playful moments without me having to say much at all. After two outfits at the church, we headed to one of my favorite fields for her final look… or so we thought.

Right as we walked up, we saw the most gorgeous red-leafed tree. The tree itself was full of color and it was surrounded by piles of vibrant leaves on the ground. It instantly reminded both of us of her first outfit. After taking all the photos she wanted in her dress, she changed back into her first outfit. I knew I wanted to do a leaf toss shot because how could we not with that sea of red? It usually takes several tries to get the leaves falling just right without covering someone’s face, but Hadley nailed it on the very first try!

Hadley, thank you for being part of my spokesmodel team this year and for trusting me with your senior photos. Photographing you has already been such a joy and I’m so grateful you chose me to capture this season of your life. I’m excited for the rest of your senior year and can’t wait to watch you take on the next chapter!
