Emily Grace’s senior session was a perfect reminder that the best days are worth the wait. After rescheduling a few times due to different events and conflicts, we finally landed on the perfect evening despite our busy schedules. Everything aligned in the most effortless way and felt easy from start to finish.
We started at the historic Sturdivant Hall Museum and it was absolutely glowing. The garden was in full bloom, with soft florals spilling into every corner and the kind of light that makes you slow down a little just to take it in. It gave the most luxurious, romantic garden vibes! Emily Grace fit right into that setting and every photo felt like it belonged in a magazine.
From there, we moved to St. Paul’s Episcopal church for pictures in their beautiful courtyard. The architecture and the soft natural tones made it a peaceful contrast to the flowers. It gave Emily Grace’s portraits a classic and timeless look and the whole space felt calm and unhurried.
Our final stop was Cornerstone Presbyterian Church, Emily Grace’s home church. This part of the session came together last minute and I told her it was ironic timing because I had just been thinking the week before that it had been a while since I had photographed there. Ending the session in a place that already means something to her added a personal layer to the gallery that you just can’t replicate.
Emily Grace, thank you for being part of my senior spokesmodel team this year! It has been such a joy having you in front of my camera and representing this season so well. I’m so grateful for the time we’ve spent together and I can’t wait to see where life takes you next. Wishing you the very best in everything ahead!
