Grace and Matthew’s wedding day was the perfect celebration of a relationship built on eight years of love, friendship, and shared memories. There was a special sense of anticipation surrounding their wedding day. After almost a decade together, they were finally able to celebrate the beginning of their marriage with the family and friends who have supported them every step of the way.
Their ceremony took place at Grace’s home church, Shiloh Baptist Church, a meaningful setting for such a special occasion. Long before the ceremony began, guests started arriving to secure their seats. The sanctuary quickly filled, and before long, it was standing room only as family and friends gathered with excitement to witness Grace and Matthew exchange vows. The atmosphere was filled with joy and plenty of happy tears as these two officially became husband and wife.
Following the ceremony, the celebration continued at the newly renovated Selma Country Club. Guests were welcomed into a reception that felt like the perfect blend of elegance and summer charm. Thanks to the club’s new layout, Grace and Matthew were able to host a seamless indoor-outdoor reception that allowed guests to enjoy every corner of the venue. The design was nothing short of stunning. Pink umbrellas created a cheerful garden party atmosphere, while abundant pink and yellow florals brought color and life to every space. From the thoughtfully planned details to the lively dance floor, every part of the evening reflected the couple’s joyful personalities and excitement for the future.
One of the things I loved most about this wedding was how intentionally Grace and Matthew celebrated with the people who have supported them throughout their relationship. Every hug, smile, and conversation seemed to reflect just how many lives they have touched along the way. It was evident that this day was not only a celebration of their marriage but also a celebration of the community that has walked beside them through the years.
Grace and Matthew, thank you so much for choosing me to document such an unforgettable day! It has been a joy to capture this long-awaited milestone and preserve these memories for your family to cherish for years to come. I am so grateful to have been a small part of your wedding story. Congratulations again, and I hope you have the most wonderful honeymoon in Mexico as you begin this exciting new chapter together!
