Claire and Mikey’s wedding ceremony in Prattville, Alabama took place at the top of the ridge, overlooking a breathtaking valley of trees bathed in the golden hues of the setting sun. It was the perfect backdrop for a love story as sweet and genuine as theirs.  

This wedding was particularly special to me because I had the honor of photographing Claire’s brother’s wedding and also her matron of honor’s wedding. It’s always a joy to see familiar faces and be part of another milestone in a family’s journey.  

Claire poured her heart into every detail. From the personalized Golden Goose shoes featuring her and Mikey’s initials to the thoughtful touches throughout the day, everything reflected their unique style. Her vision came to life beautifully, blending elegance with a sense of fun that carried through the entire celebration.  

Speaking of fun, Claire and Mikey made a spontaneous decision that stole the show at the reception: a mechanical bull! It turned out to be a brilliant addition. Guests were lined up all evening to try their luck, cheering and laughing as riders gave it their best shot. By the end of the night, even I couldn’t resist! Let’s just say my 30 seconds of glory ended in dizziness and a not-so-graceful dismount—but it was worth every second for the laughter it brought.  

Claire and Mikey’s day was filled with love, laughter, and a true sense of celebration. From the touching vows at sunset to the unforgettable moments on the dance floor (and the bull!), every part of their wedding felt authentic and joyful.
