From the moment Dow asked Michaela to marry him at the lake, she started imagining their wedding day.  On a beautiful, windy day almost a year later, her vision came to life.  The skies had cleared just in time for their wedding day.  Michaela and her closest friends got ready in style with their monogrammed floral robes at a family friend’s home.  They kicked off one of the most beautiful wedding days with a fun champagne pop and clinking their glasses.

Michaela wanted to do a first look with both her dad and her bridesmaids.  All the girls were in awe of how stunning Michaela looked in her dress.  While Michaela’s dad, Mike, was waiting for the big reveal, he was sure he would not cry.  He said he couldn’t be happier for his daughter to get married, but he wasn’t the type to cry.  However, once he saw his little girl, the tears started flowing.

When we arrived at the Camellia Pavilion, all the guests were anxiously waiting for Michaela and Dow to exchange vows.  Each bridesmaid and groomsman that walked down the aisle built up anticipation.  Michaela and her dad walked slowly together to meet Dow at the altar.  The moment she appeared, Dow started fighting back tears.  He was finally going to marry the woman of his dreams.  After the ceremony, the newlyweds walked hand in hand with the most joyous smiles on their faces.  We made sure to include Michaela and Dow’s fur baby, Gunner, in their portraits!  I think it’s safe to say he’s excited for them too! 🙂

Michaela and Dow, thank you so much for asking me to be part of your wedding day!  I have enjoyed getting to know both of you over the last few months!  Thank you for trusting me when I ask you to do something silly to get the perfect shot.  Thank you for being so caring and loving.  I know God has great plans for your marriage and I cannot wait to see how He uses both of you!  Have a fun and relaxing honeymoon, Mr. and Mrs. Gardner!
