There are terms photographers use so often they sometimes forget that everyone isn’t familiar with that term.  Branding session is one of those terms.  Ever since sharing the behind the scenes reel of Kirsten’s branding session, I have been asked multiple times, “what is a branding session?”

Branding sessions are meant to showcase you and your work in a cohesive and consistent manner.  These sessions are more than just a headshot; they are for telling the story of you and the heart behind your business!  It’s a time to elevate your unique personality and style.  People like to buy from brands they know and if you’re the face of your business, people need to know you!

I have photographed Kirsten’s gowns and tuxes multiple times before for local weddings and I got to work with her for the Cedar Acres Ranch Styled Shoot last year.  I was so excited when Kirsten reached out to me recently to do a branding session for her bridal shop, KD Bridal and Prom!  She had a specific vision for conveying her brand and I had the honor of bringing that vision to life.

Selma people, if you need any kind of formal dress or tux, KD Bridal and Prom is the place to go!  So many beautiful dresses caught my eye and now I’m trying to find an excuse to buy one haha.  She also rents dresses, so that’s another option for those special occasions!  Seriously, go visit Kirsten at her shop!
