Kicking off my Class of 2026 senior sessions with Ally was the best way to start the year! Ally is one of my senior spokesmodels and she brought so much joy and confidence to her individual session. We met at her grandmother’s beautiful property in Plantersville. It was a spot full of character and plenty of places to explore. Every corner of the property offered something unique and Ally made each one look effortlessly stunning. As we wandered, we stumbled upon a patch of wildflowers blooming right near the road. The mix of yellow and purple petals created such a dreamy backdrop!

The light that afternoon was a little tricky. An overcast sky created unexpected harsh shadows, but we made it work! With a few creative angles, we managed to capture such soft tones throughout her gallery. Ally was so patient as we chased the best light and she made every photo look effortless. Her calm, easygoing personality shined through, and it made the whole session feel relaxed and fun. I loved watching her confidence grow with every pose and laugh. It reminded me why I adore photographing seniors so much!

After we finished exploring her grandmother’s land, we made a quick drive down the road to an old abandoned store. The moment we pulled up, I knew the photos would be amazing! The building’s weathered hunter green trim matched Ally’s dress perfectly. That outfit was her favorite of the day and it quickly became mine too! The combination of her flowy green dress and the rustic textures of the storefront made every photo pop.
