May brought us a beautiful afternoon for Grace’s bridal session at Shiloh Baptist Church. The light peeking through the trees and the soft breeze made the photos pop! With sunshine overhead and temperatures that were surprisingly comfortable for Alabama in the spring, it was the perfect day to photograph this sweet season of her life.
Choosing Shiloh Baptist Church for her bridal portraits made the session even more meaningful. As her home church, it has been the backdrop for countless memories over the years, making it a fitting place to capture the final days before she became a wife.
Grace looked absolutely stunning in her gown. Every detail felt timeless, from the elegant silhouette of her dress to the long veil that flowed beautifully with every step. The veil added so much movement and drama to her portraits while still perfectly reflecting Grace’s classic style.
One of my favorite details from the session was her bouquet, which was lovingly created by her mother. The arrangement was beautiful on its own, but knowing it was made by someone who has walked beside Grace throughout her life made it even more special.
Bridal sessions offer something wedding days rarely can: time. Time to slow down, enjoy wearing the dress, and soak in the excitement of what is about to begin. Without a timeline to follow or guests waiting nearby, Grace was able to fully enjoy this chapter and celebrate all the anticipation leading up to her wedding day.
Grace, it was such a joy to photograph your bridal portraits and spend a little extra time with you before your wedding! Your genuine heart, kindness, and excitement for the future were evident throughout the entire session. I loved capturing these memories for you and your family and I know these portraits will be treasured for years to come.
