It’s not everyday that you get to photograph horses during a senior session, but I’m here for it! When Leanna and I were figuring out locations for her senior portraits, she said she really wanted to take pictures with horses. I had taken engagement pictures with horses a couple of years ago, so I knew exactly who to contact to set it up! Ashley and Riley graciously allowed us to take pictures with their horses and were so helpful the entire time we were there. Leanna shared that one of the reasons she wanted pictures with horses is because she really wants a horse of her own. Maybe seeing her with a horse will convince her parents to add some to their farm? Wink wink 🙂
After some time with the horses, we drove down to the pond. There was a perfect little boat on the bank just begging us to include it in our pictures. Once we took quite a few pictures on the bank, Leanna said she wanted to get in the water! And wow! The way the sunlight hit the water and her dress floated behind her made it look like she was walking on sunshine.
Our next stop was her school, Morgan Academy, for some photos on the softball field. Leanna has played softball for years and recently accepted a softball scholarship to Columbia State University! We definitely had to include some softball pictures!
Leanna, thank you so much for being part of my first Senior Spokesmodel team and for choosing me to take your senior portraits! I have enjoyed getting to know you over the years through church and your sweet family. You are incredibly talented and I can’t wait to see how God uses you and your gifts. Thank you for such a fun year!
